Grey Glacier Navigation

Our Grey Glacier Navigation is a must-see excursion during your visit to Torres del Paine National Park. This three-hour journey takes place aboard our Grey III Catamaran and passes incredible landscapes with floating icebergs, exuberant vegetation and omnipotent mountains.

Sail in a comfortable and modern catamaran to Grey Glacier, where you will see radiant blueicebergs floating on turquoise water, feel Patagonian wind on your face and share a unique andunforgettable experience with others. Apart from Grey Glacier, witness Cerro Paine Grande, Macizo del Paine, lakeside forests, stratified rock hills and snow-capped peaks reaching the clouds. Duration:

Round Trip (RT) Navigation
The navigation consists of a visit to Grey Glacier lasting approximately two hours and forty-five minutes. It includes one pisco sour or other beverage and is accompanied by a guide. First, you will check-in at Hotel Lago Gray an hour before departure, then walk thirty to forty-five minutes along a beach to reach the departure point. In certain months, when the Pingo River’s flow increases, it is possible to reach the docked Catamaran via our hotel boat without walking.

* The approach boat is not used during low-season, May to September. In high season, October to April, it is subject to weather conditions determined at check-in.

Hotel Navigation — Refuge (OWH)
On the first and second navigations from Grey Beach, we stop after forty-five minutes at Grey Refuge to drop off or pick-up passengers and later continue on to the glacier. This section of the navigation does not include a visit to the glacier.
The third route passes the glacier first then continues on to Grey Refuge. After approximately one hour, it arrives to Grey Beach. From here, you will walk along the beach for thirty to forty- five minutes, three kilometers, to reach the hotel.
Navigation Shelter — Hotel (OWR)
On the first and second sections of the navigation to Grey Refuge, lasting approximately two hours, we will visit Grey Glacier and finish at Grey Beach’s Pier. This navigation is specially designed for passengers who have just completed a trek or alternative activity within the national park. This navigation includes a stop at Grey Glacier.
The third navigation section passes the glacier first and then continues on to Grey Refuge. It does not include a stop at Grey Glacier. After approximately one hour, it arrives to Grey Beach. From here, you will walk along the beach for thirty to forty-five minutes, three kilometers, to reach the hotel.
